Our best-selling matcha, created for your everyday ritual.
Made from 100% ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, this is a mixed-region blend selected for its vibrant colour, full-bodied flavour and versatility. It has a slightly bolder, more bitter character than our Single Origin Matcha, allowing the flavour of the tea to shine through when paired with milk.
Smooth enough to enjoy traditionally, but particularly good in a latte — this is the matcha to reach for every morning.

WHY MATCHA?
Unlike steeped tea, where the leaves are infused and removed, matcha is made from finely ground green tea leaves that are whisked directly into water — meaning you're consuming the tea leaf itself.
Matcha naturally contains CAFFEINE and L-THEANINE, an amino acid naturally present in tea, making it a popular alternative to coffee and an easy addition to your everyday routine.
Its distinctive green colour comes from the shade-growing process used before harvest, which influences the chlorophyll and amino acid content of the leaves and helps develop matcha's characteristic flavour and colour.

Our Everyday Matcha has been selected specifically for its ability to hold its flavour when combined with milk.
Expect a vibrant, full-bodied matcha with a subtle bitterness that cuts through dairy or plant-based milk, creating a balanced latte where you can still taste the tea.
MATCHA LATTE
Sift 2g of matcha into your matcha bowl.
Add 30ml of water at 80°C and whisk until smooth and frothy.
Add approximately 200ml of your favourite steamed milk and sweeten to taste.

After not being too happy with my purchase of matcha from tae, Tara reached out to me and explained there had been an issue with the batch I had purchased. She was very kind and accepting of my feedback and offered to send me a replacement, which I accepted. Upon trying the matcha properly, I was so happy with it. The colour is great and the taste is creamy and sweet. I will be buying this again and would definitely recommend!
